What's the difference between section 8 and public housing?
Sec 8 is generally a monetary contribution given to help pay rents in a conventional rental property. Public housing is owned by a government, and offers rents at a reduced rate.
Public housing is the projects, federal housing. Section 8 is a voucher that pays for a percentage of your rent. You can't be in public housing and Section 8. They're 2 different things.
