Why do people act like marriage exists?

Best answer: People don't want to commit long term and we can blame ourselves for the shocking reality of the world!

Only a small percentage of marriages work and half of them are unhappily married because it takes a lot of communication between the two involved and dedication.

The average minded man becomes overwhelmed by what to do and say so he stupidly asks his mates or family member or even worse, he asks the question on yahoo answers! (lol)
How romantic!!!

Once all of those emotional reactions ignight, they fight!
"Why did you do that?" she asks because the poor woman can't see past her love for him to admit to herself that he is just another fool like the rest of us!

We could still make marriage work these days if we live in isolation from society. When we need to rely on one another and there is nobody else to complain to about it, yeah-well!?

Spoken like a recent divorcee.

We're not acting. Marriage does exist, as evidenced by the BILLIONS of married people on earth.

Meanwhile, back on planet Earth.
