Can I inject antibiotics capsules?

Best answer: If you cant swallow water, you need to go to the emergency room and let them know. you need at least fluids to live. Do not inject yourself with antibiotics for many reasons. 1- you need a professional to do that because if you inject them thinking they are going into your literal stomach and they dont actually end up there (which is VERY likely) things will not be that great. Also many antibiotics do not work if crushed, or diluted and must be taken whole.

No, don't do that. Ask your doctor about what you should do in this situation.

No you cannot.
If you really cannot swallow at all, go to the ER where they will either give the antibiotics by IV or by feeding tube,

You may crush antibiotics and swallow them with water. No need to inject them. Keep your throat warm so that infection does not recur. Strep throat occurs only when the throat and chest are left exposed to cold.

You don't take antibiotics for strep throat in order to get well. You take them to prevent complications. Those complications are pretty rare. The risk of doing something stupid like your musing is much greater. You can act like an adult, and swallow them even though it hurts; you can wait a couple of days until you're better to start taking them; or you can (if not allergic to penicillin) opt for a nice painful shot in the butt with benzathine penicillin G.

nope
