HOW TO SOLVE 3^10 / 9^3 * -27 TOMORROW IS MY EXAM AND I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS.PLEASE HELP.?

4 Answer(s)

(3^10 / 9^3) * -27
= 3^10 / 3^6 * -27
= 3^4 / -3^3
= -3

[ 3^10 / 3^6 ] - 3^3

3^4 - 3^3 = 3

PEMDAS
Parentheses, exponent, multiplication/division, addition/subtraction.
Do it in that order and you'll be top notch.

If ever you don't remember the rules for exponents, just expand them.

3^10 = 3*3*3*3*3*3*3*3*3*3
9^3 = 9*9*9 or 3*3 * 3*3 * 3*3

So 3^4 remains

hope that's helpful
